Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of our secondary glazing units to our customers UK wide. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The Delivery Driver will also assist in warehouse operations as needed.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport our Secondary Glazing units to designated locations within the UK. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care and secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or inquiries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management, packing orders, and organising stock when not on the road. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including times, locations, and any issues encountered. You will be required at times to stay in hotels, this can be up to 3 times per week on occasions.

Requirements

Valid driving licence; experience as a driver or delivery driver is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of goods. Previous experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery schedules.
