Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and minimise delays Load and unload goods, sometimes requiring heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury Ensure accurate delivery of products to clients, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Follow health and safety procedures at all times during deliveries

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience with warehouse operations and heavy lifting is advantageous Strong organizational skills for route planning and time management Excellent communication skills to interact courteously with clients and team members Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy items safely Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision
