Equipment Hire business specialising in Work at Height. We deliver and collect our units across London and South East Monday to Friday. We're a family run business and invite those who are good customer facing and enjoy a steady work life to apply for this position for an immediate start.

Overview:

We are looking for a Delivery/ Collection Driver who will drive one of our Dropside LWB Van (3.5T) to our commercial customers delivery Work at Height Equipment, which is mainly alloy towers. It is a 40 hour week with a varied start time depending on the jobs. Your first delivery time is usually 8am with occasionally earlier and optional weekend morning drops (not a common request but paid as overtime).

Our business is family-run and a small team which work very well together. We have been specialising in Work at Height for 20 years, founded in 2004, and our team boasts off knowledge to ensure our customers get the best possible service from communication to delivery. You must have 3-5 years commercial driving experience with good knowledge of London and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

- Safely drive a delivery van to transport goods to customers

- Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling

- Plan delivery routes to meet delivery schedules

- Communicate with customers in a professional manner

- Perform heavy lifting when required

- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery van

- Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver

- Valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points

- Ability to drive and operate manual vans - 3.5T LWB Dropside

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong organisational skills to plan efficient delivery routes

- Ability to lift heavy items when necessary

- Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous
