Job Description

The Artisan Baker is an artisanal bakery located in Stroud and is excited to announce a job opportunity to join our enthusiastic and food-loving team. Our main objective is to deliver high-quality, delicious baked goods to our customers.

The Role:

As a driver for our bakery, you will be one of four team members responsible for delivering our products to wholesale customers throughout Gloucestershire and beyond, working 4 to 5 days a week (Saturday and Sunday are mandatory)

Key responsibilities include:

- Operating 4-6 hour shifts that begin at our Stroud bakery at 3:30 a.m. and conclude back at the bakery.
- Carefully loading and unloading the van.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and good condition of the van, as well as cleaning the delivery crates after each shift.

Ideal candidates will have:

- Prior delivery experience with either an electric or manual van
- Full, clean UK driving license.
- The physical capability to lift and transport crates of goods.
- A conscientious approach to work, excellent time management skills, careful driving habits, and strong interpersonal abilities.
