Delivery Driver (Furniture)

Monday-Friday | 08:30-17:00 (with paid overtime)

Ennis & Brown is looking for a reliable, friendly and hands-on Delivery Driver to join our growing team.

This is

much more than a driving job

. As part of a two-person delivery team, you'll play a vital role in the final (and most important) stage of our customer journey -- delivering and installing beautifully crafted furniture in customers' homes across the UK.

One day you might be delivering to

Berkhamsted

, the next to

Manchester

. Every day is different, physical, and customer-focused.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering the final part of the Ennis & Brown experience by:

Carefully loading and unloading customer orders Delivering and installing tables and furniture with precision and care Treating customers' homes and our furniture as if they were your own Delivering within agreed time slots and communicating clearly with customers Calling ahead if running early or delayed Advising customers on how to care for their furniture Keeping the van clean, organised and well-stocked (blankets, straps, bolts, felt pads, etc.) Checking the van for roadworthiness and reporting any issues Reporting delivery issues or damage to the office team promptly Assisting with general yard duties when not delivering (e.g. clearing cardboard, light workshop help) Working paid overtime when required (generally weekdays only)
About You

Requirements

Full UK / EU / EEA driving licence (held for at least 12 months) Clean licence with no points Van driving experience preferred (but not essential) Own car required for commuting (rural location, no public transport) Strong communication skills Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
