We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver goods to clients and distribution centres Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet scheduled deadlines Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety protocols Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for upon receipt Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of delivery vehicles Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues Adhere to all traffic laws and health & safety regulations during driving duties Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including stock organisation and inventory checks

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving or logistics Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in warehouse environments Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members Knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and safety standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing

Pay: 100.00-120.00 per day
