We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Deliver goods to clients and customers across designated routes, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs Assist with loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling Maintain accurate delivery documentation and update tracking systems as required Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness Follow health and safety protocols at all times during deliveries Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience working in warehouse environments or logistics is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, demonstrating physical fitness for manual handling tasks Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools is preferred Previous experience with warehouse operations or inventory management is beneficial
