Who are Acis Group?

We began as a social landlord providing homes in West Lindsey. Now we provide over 7,000 affordable homes across the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber. Our homes include ones for affordable rent, Shared Ownership, people aged 55 and over and supported housing \xe2\x80\x93 but now, we do so much more. In addition, there are over 4,000 learners a year are supported in local communities stretching from Sheffield to Mablethorpe \xe2\x80\x93 with everything from entry level qualifications, arts and wellbeing courses through to employability support to help people fulfil their potential. This is through Riverside Training, our employment and skills team, and CLIP, an education provider.

As a Delivery Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Employment and Wellbeing, a typical day might include:

  • Leading on the strategic management, development and delivery of our employability and wellbeing programmes.
  • Oversee all delivery across our employment and wellbeing portfolio, including but not limited to funded provision for wellbeing support, employer services, and employment support across all our learning hubs.
  • Owning and Managing performance of all contracts within this area across all hubs, understanding the detail and implementing corrective action for underperforming areas.
  • Setting and monitoring objectives and targets for the team, including resource planning, budget management, managing efficiency and maximizing value for money.
  • As a senior manager within our education and skills team, you will support the day-to-day operations across all hubs and be responsible for management decisions as they arise.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure quality delivery, positive experience for all those who interact with us and the achievement of contractual and performance targets.
  • Strive for the continuous improvements required to achieve great quality audits, including ESFA and DWP.
  • Develop key stakeholder relations with potential partners, and employers to maximise our delivery, grow our service and provide a better service offer.
  • Ensure all customers get the support they need to achieve their goals, together with maximising funding drawdown relating to all delivery.
  • Ensure a modern, flexible and innovate approach to delivery, sharing this learning and insight across all delivery teams.
  • Working closely with the quality team, ensure your area deliver and record quality interventions, hold compliant paperwork and achieve outcomes.
  • Develop your team through continued professional development to develop expertise, new innovative ideas and new progression opportunities.
  • Work closely with the engagement team to ensure delivery targets are met, our hubs are active and thriving and our customers are supported.
What a good Delivery Manager looks like to us:
  • Education to degree level or can demonstrate relevant equivalent experience
  • Teaching qualification or relevant equivalent qualification/experience
  • Demonstrable evidence of leadership and management development and skills and the management
  • Demonstrable evidence of managing multiple partnerships and education/skills facing services including strategic development and implementation
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of managing DWP contracts and others alike
  • Significant experience of employment, employability or wellbeing interventions and programmes to enable people to progress and achieve
  • Experience of engaging vulnerable and hard to reach people in communities with relevant opportunities
  • An organised individual who can plan and monitor a varied workload
  • Strong people skills which encourage others to work collaboratively
  • Strong literacy skills with the ability to write clearly and effectively
  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to meet challenges and adapt to change
  • Being self-motivated, resilient, with a drive and determination to achieve results
