London (with driver in the van)

Mon-Fri,

07:00-17:00

(mostly)

Pay:

12.50+/hour (PAYE)

for 21+ (legal minimum or above) + holiday pay + pension

Full-time, permanent

What you'll do

Work

beside the driver

as a two-person crew.

Load/unload

scaffold tower sections; two-person lifts; place items safely at customer site. Guide the driver when reversing (

banksman

), handle paperwork/scanner, keep the back tidy.

Must-haves

Physically fit for all-day manual handling (training & PPE provided). Friendly with customers; reliable and safety-minded.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service. This position involves various tasks, including driving, assisting guests, and supporting the overall functionality of the premises.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the facility, including common areas and entrances. Assist guests with their luggage and provide directions as needed. Drive company vehicles to transport guests or materials as required. Ensure that all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, delivering exceptional customer service. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.

Skills

Proficient driving skills with a valid driving licence. Strong command of English, both spoken and written. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour. Effective communication skills, able to interact positively with guests and colleagues alike.
