Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Client Liaison
Prepare and update project and contract schedules.
Attend pre-start meetings, client site visits, and monitor works through to final completion and sign-off (Certificate of Practical Completion).
Assist with cost plans and tenders for new projects.
Maintain strong client relationships and resolve project or site-related issues, including neighbourly matters.
Procurement & Resource Management
Order, check, and manage equipment, plant, skips, and demolition stock.
Provide administration with details of new staff for onboarding.
Prepare job-specific costings, including plant hire and skip/waste charges.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and issue project documentation, including:
o Inspection & Test Plans
o Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
o Compiling programs
o Construction Phase Plans (CPPs)
Contribute to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) as required.
Ensure all project documentation is prepared, checked, and circulated in line with company procedures.
Compile and submit client records at project completion.
Project Delivery & Site Supervision
Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Provide technical supervision and support to demolition teams.
Oversee site supervisors and ensure all site paperwork is up to date.
Conduct regular internal safety inspections and confirm plant/equipment is properly maintained.
Ensure methodology and safe systems of work are correctly followed on site.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing demolition projects of varying size and complexity.
Strong knowledge of demolition legislation, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
Ability to prepare and review RAMS, CPPs, and other safety documentation.
Strong client-facing and communication skills, with ability to manage relationships effectively.
Commercial awareness with experience in preparing costings and managing budgets.
IT literate, with good knowledge of MS Office and project management tools.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent qualification.
CCDO (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives) Management-level card (preferred)
