We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Supervisor to lead our demolition projects with precision and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction trades and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities. As a Demolition Supervisor, you will oversee the demolition process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications while managing a team of workers.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate demolition activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct site assessments to determine the best approach for demolition while minimising risks. Manage and train team members in safe work practices, including the proper use of hand tools and power tools. Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and ensure projects are completed on schedule. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order, including fabrication tools and machinery. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as necessary to facilitate project completion. Implement waste management practices to recycle materials where possible.

Experience

Proven experience in demolition or construction supervision is essential. Proficiency in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and construction painting is highly desirable. Familiarity with operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to demolition work. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
