We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals for the position of Demolition Worker. This role involves the safe and efficient dismantling of structures, ensuring that all tasks are completed in compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties

Safely demolish buildings and structures using appropriate tools and techniques. Operate power tools and hand tools effectively, including saws, drills, and chisels. Assist in the fabrication and welding of materials as required during demolition projects. Conduct masonry work when necessary, ensuring structural integrity is maintained during the process. Perform painting tasks to prepare surfaces for subsequent construction or renovation. Carry out roofing duties as needed, ensuring all safety measures are adhered to. Plumb structures accurately to ensure proper alignment and stability. Collaborate with carpenters and electricians on site to facilitate smooth project progression. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Previous experience in demolition or construction is preferred but not essential. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to fabricate, weld, and perform basic masonry tasks is advantageous. Strong understanding of building structures and demolition techniques. Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods. A valid health and safety certification is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at different heights as required by job specifications.
