What will you do as Dental Laboratory Manager?
You'll be responsible for leading the daily operations of the laboratory, supporting our talented technicians, and ensuring high standards across the board - from technical output to client satisfaction.
Managing and supporting a team of dental technicians, ensuring quality and deadlines are met
Troubleshooting workflow or technical challenges as they arise
Organising training sessions to keep the team updated on materials, equipment, and best practices
Conducting performance reviews and development plans for staff
Overseeing inductions and onboarding of new team members
Liaising directly with clients and conducting site visits to maintain strong relationships
Attending and contributing to sales meetings, supporting the commercial growth of the lab
Coordinating local and postal collections and deliveries
Maintaining the lab's scheduling system and tracking case progress
Managing the business calendar, including holidays, meetings, and internal events
Collaborating with marketers and suppliers to support promotional and operational efforts
Monitoring invoicing and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly
What are we looking for?
Proven administrative and team leadership experience in a dental environment
Strong working knowledge of dental terminology and restorative workflows
Excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills
A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong problem-solving ability
Keen attention to detail and pride in personal and professional presentation
A full UK Driving Licence is essential
