Yorkshire Smiles Leeds are looking for an experienced Dental Nurse who is enthusiastic, trustworthy and smart in appearance to join our friendly team.
We are seeking a skilled Dental Nurse to join our dental practice in providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and organised individual with excellent communication skills.

We are a busy NHS practice that also offers some private treatments, we are fully computerised with Exact SOE and uses a digital x-ray system.

The practice working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 5.30pm Friday 8.45am - 5pm

The right candidate will have opportunities to progress in their career and gain additional post qualifications including Oral health champion.

Responsibilities:

Recording patient information accurately
Setting up and preparing the surgery before the start of each session
Preparing materials and assisting the dentist during dental procedures chair side
Decontamination and sterilising of instruments
Maintaining a clean and sterile environment
Ensuring the smooth daily running of the surgery
Providing excellent patient care and support
Supporting the practice manager with Audits and ensuring the CQC requirements are met
Supporting the nursing team, & assisting apprentice nurses
Holding regular team meetings
Follow the HTM0105/HTM0107
Ordering and monitoring stock
Experience & Required Skills:

-GDC registration DCP
- Proficient in English language
- Basic IT skills
- Strong organisational abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience as a dental nurse

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Exact SOE knowledge
- Experience in patient care
