Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient care skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for assisting in dental procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery for clinical procedures
- Provide chairside support to the dentist, handing them the correct instruments
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Sterilise instruments and equipment following infection control guidelines
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Manage stock control of dental materials and supplies
Qualifications:
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications (Trainee applications will be considered) . Pay will depend on experience
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in IT systems for maintaining electronic patient records
- Good command of English language for effective communication with patients and colleagues
