Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist or orthodontic therapists during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment plans and medical histories. Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Relevant nursing qualifications or experience within a dental setting is highly desirable. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: 7.55-13.00 per hour
