We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and proficiency in IT to manage patient records effectively.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring a sterile environment.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for procedures.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients and addressing their concerns.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans using dental software.
Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their treatment plans.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery and waiting areas.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
Excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
