We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support within our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure that the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and team members are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas. Manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of care.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong IT skills to manage patient records and scheduling systems efficiently. Excellent organisational abilities to maintain an orderly work environment. A caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Proficient communication skills in English to interact effectively with patients and team members.
