The Role
We are looking for an
experienced dental receptionist or patient care coordinator
with strong
implant knowledge
and a calm, confident communication style to join our team.
This is not a standard front-desk role.
You will be the first point of contact for patients enquiring about specialist and implant care, often at a vulnerable or anxious time. You must be able to hold meaningful, reassuring conversations, explain treatment journeys clearly, and manage enquiries independently with professionalism and warmth.
This role is for specific days/hours as follows:
- Monday 8.30-5.30
- Wednesday 8.30 - 5.30
- Thursday 8.15 - 5.30
- Friday 8.15 - 5.30
A
clinical, TCO, or senior dental background
is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Managing incoming patient enquiries, with a strong focus on dental implants and specialist care
Confidently explaining treatment journeys, processes, and next steps in a clear, patient-first way
Supporting anxious or complex patients with empathy and reassurance
Liaising closely with clinicians and the wider team to ensure seamless patient care
Handling patient communication with discretion, accuracy, and integrity
Upholding SmileKind's high standards of professionalism, care, and attention to detail
About You
You will ideally have:
Previous experience in a
dental receptionist, treatment coordinator, or clinical role
Strong dental implant knowledge
and confidence discussing implant treatment with patients
Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
A calm, professional approach when dealing with complex or sensitive cases
The ability to work independently and use sound judgement
A genuine alignment with SmileKind's values and patient-first ethos
This role is
not suitable for someone early in their dental career
or without solid implant experience.
