Dental Practice Cleaner and Decontamination Assistant

to join our team. This role is vital to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our practice.

Key Responsibilities:



Ensure cleanliness

of the practice outside of normal operating hours, maintaining a pristine environment for both patients and staff.

Perform

regular deep cleaning

in accordance with an agreed schedule with the Principal/Owner, ensuring all areas are hygienic and safe.

Keep accurate records of cleaning services, in line with

regulatory requirements

.

Maintain the

good order and appearance

of all patient facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment.

Report any maintenance issues

within the surgery to the Service Manager for prompt attention.

Monitor cleaning supplies

and advise the Manager when stock needs replenishing.

Ensure the

cleaning cupboard

is always neat, organized, and fully stocked.

Follow security protocols

to maintain the safety of the practice at all times, ensuring proper procedures are followed when opening and closing the premises.

Provide a

daily courier service

for equipment or documentation between practice locations.

Attend and participate in

training sessions

as notified, to remain compliant with the latest standards and procedures.

Carry out any other

delegated duties

that are appropriate to the role.

Key Requirements:



Previous experience in a cleaning or decontamination role, ideally within a healthcare setting.

Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations

, particularly in relation to infection control and decontamination.

Reliable and trustworthy

, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security at all times.

Flexibility

to work outside of regular operating hours and possibly on weekends.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
