We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional patient care, and maintaining efficient practice workflows. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service in a professional environment. Ideally will also be GDC registered
Duties
Supervise and support dental practice staff, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists
Oversee the management of appointments, patient records, and clinical schedules to optimise workflow
Handle financial management tasks such as billing, invoicing, and budgeting to ensure the practice's profitability
Manage human resources functions including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and staff development programmes
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of infection control and hygiene
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
Liaise with dental suppliers and service providers to ensure the smooth running of practice equipment and supplies
Monitor patient feedback and resolve any issues promptly to uphold the practice's reputation
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting
Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
Financial management expertise including budgeting, billing, and cost control
Experience in human resources management, including recruitment and staff development
Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to dental practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Previous veterinary experience is considered a plus but is not essential
Exceptional communication skills with a professional demeanour
A recognised qualification in healthcare management or related field is desirable
