We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring outstanding patient care, and maintaining efficient and compliant practice systems. Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and support the dental practice team, including dental nurses, receptionists, and support staff
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflows and a high standard of patient care
Manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, billing, payroll, and cost control
Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, CQC standards, and industry best practices
Oversee HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and staff development
Coordinate appointment scheduling, patient records, and diary management
Manage stock levels, suppliers, and inventory control
Promote a positive, professional working environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement
Handle patient queries or concerns in a professional and timely manner
About You
Proven experience in a Dental Practice Manager or similar supervisory role
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Experience in financial management and operational oversight
Knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, training, and performance management
Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to multitask
Confident problem-solver with a calm, professional approach
Experience in a dental or healthcare setting is highly desirable
