Overview of Role
As the Practice Manager at Rit Premium Dental Care, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and
efficient operation of our clinic. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care and
satisfaction, managing the daily administrative and operational aspects of the clinic, and supporting our team
to deliver exceptional dental services.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the clinic.
Ensure efficiency in the patient journey and uphold the highest standards of care.
Manage the clinic's cleaning schedule by delegating tasks among staff members, ensuring a clean and
welcoming environment.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (delegable where appropriate).
Monitor and follow up on weekly marketing reports, ensuring warm leads are contacted.
Manage staff performance, rota planning, feedback, and training.
Manage the clinic's budget, including financial and performance reporting.
Support
The Practice Manager will be fully supported by our operations team, which includes the HR company, Operations Directors, and the Performance Marketing Manager.
Additional Job Tasks
Lead and motivate the team to meet performance goals.
Manage the appointment schedule for optimal patient flow.
Address patient inquiries and concerns.
Oversee inventory and supply management.
Collaborate with operations and marketing teams on strategy and promotions.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including fire safety, CQC, RIDDOR, and COSHH.
Handle billing, payroll, and budgeting.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum one year experience as a dental practice manager or in a similar role.
GCSE or higher certification in relevant fields.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Good understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.
Desirable
Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
Familiarity with Dentally or similar software.
Skills
Strong leadership and team management.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Sales ability and understanding of revenue growth.
Ability to build strong relationships with patients and staff.
Fluency in English is required.
Any additional language is very welcome.
Salary
Salary is 30,000 per year plus monthly sales commission.
