Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, maintaining high standards of patient care, and managing a dedicated team. Duties
Supervise and lead the dental practice team, including reception staff, dental assistants, and hygienists
Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and high standards of patient care
Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting
Implement and monitor policies related to health and safety, infection control, and compliance with regulatory standards
Handle human resources responsibilities such as recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and staff development
Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimise patient flow and minimise waiting times
Maintain accurate records of patient information and practice documentation
Foster positive relationships with patients to ensure satisfaction and retention
Ensure the practice adheres to all legal requirements and industry best practices
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental environment
Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Experience in financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting
Knowledge of human resources practices such as recruitment, staff development, and performance management
Previous veterinary experience is considered a valuable asset but is not essential; relevant healthcare management experience is preferred
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills with a professional approach to patient care and team leadership
