We are seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, maintaining high standards of patient care, and leading a team of dental professionals. Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of dental staff, including receptionists, dental nurses, and hygienists
Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and billing processes efficiently
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense control
Handle human resources responsibilities such as recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and staff welfare
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of infection control
Develop and implement operational policies to improve practice efficiency and patient satisfaction
Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure the availability of necessary equipment and materials
Monitor patient feedback and address any concerns promptly to uphold the practice's reputation
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental environment
Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
Sound financial management capabilities, including budgeting and financial reporting
Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to healthcare settings
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
Good communication skills for liaising with patients, staff, and external stakeholders
Prior experience in veterinary or healthcare management is advantageous but not essential
