We are a well-established, fully-private, patient-centric dental practice in Scotland seeking a strategic and compassionate leader. This role is ideal for an experienced manager seeking a new challenge, or for a top-tier senior clinical professional with the drive and aptitude to transition into practice management through a structured development plan.

The Role:



You will hold the key operational responsibility for our practice, ensuring excellence in patient care, team performance, and business health. You will work in partnership with the Directors to implement strategy, optimise systems, and foster a positive culture.

We are primarily seeking an experienced Practice Manager, but we are genuinely open to investing in an outstanding Lead/Senior Nurse who demonstrates exceptional leadership and business potential.



For the Experienced Practice Manager, You Will:



Provide full strategic and day-to-day leadership, managing all non-clinical aspects of the practice. Take ownership of financial performance, including budgeting, KPI analysis, revenue, and cost control. Ensure rigorous compliance with

Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS)

, health & safety, and employment law. Lead, mentor, and develop the entire team, managing HR processes from recruitment to performance reviews. Drive patient satisfaction and business growth through effective service delivery and marketing initiatives.

If you are a

high-calibre Lead Dental Nurse

ready for your next challenge, we will provide a comprehensive induction and mentorship program. You will initially focus on:

People leadership and operational coordination, building on your existing clinical team management skills. Mastering practice compliance, governance, and administration. Gradually assuming responsibility for financial and commercial functions with full training and support.

Our Ideal Candidate (Manager or Aspiring Manager) Has:



For Managers:

Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager in Scotland, with a strong track record in finance, compliance, and team leadership.

For Lead Nurses:

Significant experience as a Senior/Lead Dental Nurse, with demonstrable leadership, organisation, and a deep understanding of clinical governance and patient journey. Excellent knowledge of Scottish dental frameworks, and essential regulations (HIS, GDPR). Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the natural authority to lead and inspire a team. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and impeccable organisational skills. A commitment to delivering the highest standards of patient care.
