to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy dental practice. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record in managing both people and practice operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective leadership and management to all staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee financial operations including budgeting, billing, and ensuring the practice achieves its financial goals.
Manage HR functions such as recruitment, training, performance management, and staff development.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards within the practice.
Oversee patient scheduling to optimise clinical time and patient flow.
Manage supplier relationships and oversee stock control and procurement.
Handle patient queries and concerns promptly and professionally to maintain excellent standards of care and service.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience working within a dental practice is essential.
Previous CPI Knowledge advantageous.
Proven management or supervisory experience in a dental environment.
Strong financial management skills with the ability to analyse and report effectively.
Solid understanding of HR processes and staff development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both patients and staff.
Confident in using dental practice management software and digital systems. We currently use Dentally.
