Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to take care of our fantastic team at our Practice located near to East Croydon station on Addiscombe Road.

Predominantly a Private Dental Practice with a small NHS contract, you will be looking after a team of general Dentists, specialists, receptionists & dental nurses. We have a lot of long-term staff, good retention rates and a fantastic Principal Dentist.

The Practice is modern over 2 floors with an on-site lab close to multiple bus, tram & train stations.

Duties

Manage the overall operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas. Supervise staff, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive work environment. Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, invoicing, and tracking expenses to ensure the practice remains profitable. Handle human resources responsibilities including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and staff development. Implement policies and procedures that enhance patient satisfaction and improve operational workflows. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations as well as industry standards. Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care is consistently delivered.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within a dental practice is preferred. Experience working with SOE & MPC is preferred Strong background in financial management with the ability to analyse budgets and financial reports effectively. Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage a diverse team while promoting teamwork and collaboration. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of the practice are running smoothly. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff alike.
