We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice, maintaining high standards of patient care, and leading a team of dental professionals. Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of dental staff, including receptionists, dental therapists and dentists.
Oversee practice operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and billing processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
Lead human resources functions such as recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and conflict resolution.
Ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction through effective team leadership and quality assurance measures.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
Develop strategies to optimise practice growth and patient retention
Liaise with external vendors, insurance providers, and regulatory bodies as required
Qualifications
Proven supervisory experience within a healthcare or dental practice environment
Strong management skills with a focus on organisational efficiency and team leadership
Knowledge of financial management principles relevant to NHS healthcare settings
Experience in human resources management including recruitment and staff development
Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and infection control procedures
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and build positive relationships with patients
Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or business administration are desirable
