We are seeking an organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent patient care, and maintaining the financial health of the practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional with strong leadership skills to contribute to a well-established dental team.
Duties
Supervise and support dental practice staff, including receptionists, dental nurses, and hygienists, fostering a positive working environment
Day-to-day management of a busy dental practice
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience
Manage compliance in accordance with regulatory standards
Handle financial management tasks such as billing, invoicing, and budgeting to ensure profitability
Implement and monitor human resources policies, including recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and staff development programmes
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the practice
Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
Patient journey oversight, complaints handling, and customer service
Staff rotas, holidays, recruitment, onboarding, and appraisals
Supporting practice growth and continuous improvement
Working closely with the practice owner
Experience
Proven supervising experience is essential
Strong management skills with a track record of leading teams effectively
Experience in financial management, including budgeting and invoicing processes
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
Calm, professional, and solutions-focused approach
Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to healthcare environments
Previous practice management experience is highly desirable but not mandatory
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills with a professional approach to patient care and team leadership
