We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent patient care, and maintaining the financial health of the practice. Duties
Supervise and support dental practice staff, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists
Oversee appointment scheduling, patient records, and clinical workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations
Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, billing, and invoicing
Handle human resources responsibilities such as recruitment, training, performance appraisals, and staff development programmes
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and maintain a clean, safe working environment
Develop and implement policies to improve patient experience and operational effectiveness
Liaise with dental suppliers and manage inventory levels for dental supplies and equipment
Monitor practice performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting
Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
Sound financial management skills including budgeting and financial reporting
Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to healthcare environments
Experience in managing administrative systems and clinical workflows
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly with staff, patients, and external stakeholders
Previous veterinary experience is considered advantageous but is not essential
