We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory and management skills, ensuring that the practice runs smoothly while providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a blend of financial management, human resources expertise, and ideally, veterinary experience to support our diverse team.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all staff within the dental practice, fostering a positive work environment.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting to ensure the practice's profitability.
Implement and maintain efficient operational procedures to enhance patient flow and service delivery.
Handle human resources functions such as recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the practice.
Develop marketing strategies to promote the practice and attract new patients.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
Address patient concerns and feedback promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a healthcare or dental setting.
Strong financial management skills with a solid understanding of budgeting and accounting principles.
Excellent human resources knowledge, including recruitment processes and employee relations.
Previous experience in veterinary practices is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building relationships with staff and patients alike.
