Dental Practice Manager / Treatment Coordinator
to join our growing team.
About the Role
This is a unique dual-role opportunity, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, boutique clinical environment. You'll be the face of the practice and a key point of contact for both patients and clinicians. Your responsibilities will include:
Practice management
: Overseeing daily operations, leading the team, and maintaining a smooth, efficient and welcoming environment
Treatment coordination
: Guiding patients through their treatment journey with clarity, care and confidence
Compliance management
: Ensuring the practice meets all CQC and GDC requirements, maintaining up-to-date policies and protocols, and managing audits, risk assessments, and staff training records
Financial administration
: Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and accounting procedures to ensure fiscal responsibility. Managing associate salaries, processing invoices, preparing monthly reports, and liaising with our external accountant
Supporting marketing initiatives and business development
HR - Supervise and support dental staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Managing diaries, staff rotas, and patient flow with efficiency
Overseeing supplier relationships and stock control
Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with legal requirements.
Coordinate with dental professionals to facilitate optimal patient care and treatment plans.
Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock.
Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a dental setting, ideally with both management and treatment coordination responsibilities
Strong knowledge of human resources practices, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
Excellent understanding of
CQC compliance
, infection control, and regulatory standards in a private dental practice
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and accounting practices, associate pay and reporting
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Exceptional communication and high end customer service skills
A proactive, can-do attitude and calm under pressure
Strong organisational skills
Familiarity with software such as Dentally (or similar) is advantageous
