We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our BRAND NEW dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders to optimise patient flow.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
Assist dental staff with administrative tasks as needed to support efficient practice operations.
Ensure the reception area is tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanour.
Proficient in using office software and dental management systems is advantageous.
A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
