We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice.

As a receptionist, you will represent the practice at the front desk and will be the first point of contact for all our patients. You will manage the diaries of all dentist, deal with patient queries by phone, email and in person and undertake other administrative responsibilities including booking appointments and taking patient payments.
This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment, supporting both patients and the dental team. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for delivering outstanding administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Booking patients appointments in person, by phone and by emails.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
Collecting payments and issuing receipts of payments to patients
Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
Assist the dental team with administrative tasks as required, including managing correspondence and maintaining surgery supplies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a receptionist role within a healthcare setting is preferable but not essential.
Full training will be provided to ensure that you can fulfil your role with efficiency and confidence
Administrative experience is desirable to manage scheduling and patient records effectively
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in using office software programmes such as Microsoft Office or similar applications
Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude
Ability and personality to build a rapport with our patients is desirable
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Punctual and Reliable
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a large team
