We are seeking a dedicated and organised Dental Receptionist to join our busy team on a full -time basis. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the smooth running of the practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient service and administrative support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in dental software systems.
What we're looking for
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational ability with attention to detail.
Confident using computers and booking systems (experience in using CareStack would be advantageous but full training will be provided).
Previous dental reception experience is essential.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist with the check-in process.
Managing appointments, the diary and recalls efficiently.
Answering phone calls and handling enquiries.
Provide information regarding services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.
Processing payments and updating patient records.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and billing inquiries.
Supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred.
Strong computer skills.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure positive patient interactions.
Knowledge of dental surgery operations.
