Job Title: Dental Receptionist
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm dental appointments
- Manage patient records and update information as needed
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Process insurance claims and verify cover for patients
- Collect and record payments for dental services rendered
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks as assigned by the office manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a dental/medical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficient in using dental practice management software (R4 clinical +)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional appearance and demeanor
