Night Dental are searching for a Dental Receptionist to work within NHS Urgent Care dental services in Wakefield.
Working days and hours are:
Tuesdays 13:30-20:30
Wednesdays 13:30-20:30
Fridays 07:30-20:30
Saturdays 07:30-13:30
We would like to attract a well-motivated team player, offering a patient cantered approach to dentistry, as well as experience with NHS provision. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Role includes:
Assisting clinic in providing service to the community
Caring and supporting patients in their needs
Providing after care support
Recording, collecting, analysing records
Booking, checking appointments
Checking in patients, gathering patient information
Call handling
Taking payments from patients and supporting them with exemption needs.
Maintaining logs
Assisting in maintenance, auditing and compliance checks
Learning and development, maintaining a personal development portfolio and subject to regular appraisals
Taking part in regular team meeting
Maintaining premises, equipment and surfaces in a clean, safe, hygienic environment
Maintaining patient confidentiality
Maintaining efficiencies within the practice
Abiding by all legislations and practice policies
Working as a team to deliver oral health to the local community
Must be IT confident including Excel & Word, support will be given for dental software training

Previous dental experience is ideal
