We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and manage patient check-in procedures
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently using practice management software
Answer phone calls, respond to patient enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations
Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments, issuing invoices, and maintaining filing systems
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth workflow throughout the day
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area to uphold a professional environment
Assist with administrative duties such as ordering supplies and managing correspondence
Qualifications
Previous office experience, ideally within a healthcare or dental setting, is preferred
Administrative experience demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly demeanour
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent practice management systems
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism
Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
