We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar to optimise patient flow.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
Process patient payments and handle insurance claims as necessary.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a smooth operation of the practice.
Qualifications
Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting.
Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in using computer systems and software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks effectively.
