A fantastic opportunity is available to add to our friendly and supportive dental team. We are a well-known & established dental dental practice in the heart of Nuneaton.

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and professional dental receptionist to join our friendly reception team.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities



Patient Management:



Warmly greet and welcome all patients and visitors to the practice. Check patients in and out for their appointments efficiently. Maintain and update patient records accurately and confidentially, both paper and digitally. Handle patient enquiries in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner. Book, reschedule, and cancel appointments, managing the practice's diary effectively to ensure a smooth flow of patients.

Administrative Duties:



Answer and manage a high volume of calls, directing them to the appropriate team member. Process payments and issue receipts for treatments. Manage correspondence, including emails and mail. Maintain a tidy and presentable reception and waiting area. Order and manage office and clinical supplies. Assist with the administration of patient finance plans

Communication & Teamwork:



Liaise with dentists, dental nurses, and other team members to ensure a seamless patient journey. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and appointments. Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere within the practice. Support the Practice Manager with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

Essential Skills & Attributes



Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role is essential. Experience in a dental or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using dental software (e.g., SOE Exact, Dentally, or similar) is a significant advantage. Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A calm and empathetic approach, able to handle challenging situations with grace. A high level of integrity and respect for patient confidentiality.

Monday-Friday



8.30am-5.30pm, (1 hour lunch)



Saturdays



9am-4pm



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,040.00-30,160.00 per year
