Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up to date and compliant with confidentiality regulations.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries as necessary.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Keep the office, reception area tidy and organised, creating a welcoming environment for patients.
Experience
Previous experience in an office or administrative role is essential, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
Proficiency in using office software and dental practice management systems is preferred.
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
