Dental Receptionist

to be the welcoming face and organizational hub of our practice.

Location:

Atkinson Brignall Caring Dentistry, Lady Boswell House, 44 London Rd, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1AS

Hours:

Wednesday to Friday 0800 - 1745 and two Saturdays a month 0800 - 1200

Key Responsibilities



?Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our practice:

?

Patient Communication:

Warmly greeting and checking in patients, answering telephones, and managing all general inquiries in a professional manner. ?

Appointment Management:

Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments to maximize clinic efficiency and reduce patient waiting times. ?

Administrative Duties:

Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records (both electronic and paper), processing payments, and managing correspondence. ?

Liaison:

Serving as the key link between patients and the clinical team (Dentists, Hygienists, Nurses). ?

Practice Presentation:

Ensuring the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and presentable at all times.
?ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience:

Proven experience in a dental or medical receptionist role is highly desirable. Experience using dental software (SOE Exact) is a strong advantage. ?

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. ?

Qualities:

A friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor. You must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. ?

Compliance:

An understanding of patient confidentiality (GDPR) and basic dental terminology.
