We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role involves managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the clinical team to deliver high-quality dental care. Prior office and administrative experience are highly desirable, along with a welcoming attitude and organisational skills. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using practice management software
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and redirecting calls as necessary
Manage patient records accurately, including updating personal information and treatment details
Handle billing procedures, process payments, and assist with insurance claims and authorisations
Maintain a clean and organised reception area to uphold a professional environment
Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as preparing patient files and correspondence
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the reception area
Deal with company bills and office management
Experience
Previous office or administrative experience is preferred, ideally within a healthcare setting
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly telephone manner
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office or similar programmes
Ability to work well as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required

Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 08:30-17:30. These days might change in the future.
