We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional patient care while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a basic understanding of Exact/SOE.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable with working on reception and taking a lead role in all admin sides of dentistry.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with the check-in process.
Be confident using SOE and clinipads to update patient records
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
Manage patient records accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a clear and professional manner.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries as necessary.
Manage our private dental plan via direct debit collection.
Collaborate with the other dental nurses and other staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, doing light cleaning duties to ensure it is maintained.
Work as a team to help other members of staff.
No GDC registration necessary however we are open to candidates with GDC registration, the role is limited to reception only.
Experience as a dental receptionist required
