Job Description

The Treatment Centre is a well-established dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and welcoming environment. We are looking for a professional, organised, and personable receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our valued patients.

Key Responsibilities:



Patient Interaction:

Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the practice.

Appointment Scheduling:

Manage the practice's appointment calendar, scheduling and confirming patient appointments efficiently to maximize the productivity of the dental team.

Phone Management:

Answer and manage incoming calls, provide information about our services, handle inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members.

Patient Records:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including processing new patient information and updating existing files.

Billing and Payments:

Assist with billing procedures, process payments, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Office Administration:

Perform general administrative duties, including managing office supplies, mail, and other clerical tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.

Customer Service:

Address patient concerns and provide information about treatment options and payment plans, always maintaining a high level of customer service.

Decontamination Duties:


This role may encompass decontamination duties, including the cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilisation of equipment, tools, and work areas in line with established safety and hygiene protocols. Tasks may also involve the proper handling and disposal of hazardous or biohazardous materials to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Qualifications:



Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a dental or medical setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and dental practice management software (experience with R4 is a plus). A friendly and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
