We are currently recruiting for an experienced GDC registered Crown & Bridge Dental Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled qualified Dental Technician to join a modern and bespoke laboratory set in the stunning West Sussex Countryside.

You will have access to the latest digital technology and work alongside an already great team. You will be hard working, flexible and organised with an eye for exceptional detail and with previous experience working in a Dental Laboratory. You will need to have good spoken English and a keen desire to progress and learn.

This position requires strong organisational skills and effective communication abilities. A understanding of 3Shape and/or exocad is desirable. Ability to work to deadlines producing exceptional quality bespoke pieces.

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Dental Technician to join a modern and bespoke laboratory set in the stunning West Sussex Countryside. You will have access to the latest digital technology and work alongside an already great team. You will be hard working, flexible and organised with a minimum of 3 years experience and have good spoken English and a keen desire to progress and learn.

This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities. A understanding of 3Shape and/or exocad is desirable. Ability to work to deadlines producing exceptional quality bespoke pieces.

Typical work activities

The role varies according to the needs of the business, but activities typically include:

Finishing of Monolithic Restorations (e.max and Zirconia).

Finishing of Gold/CoCr Crowns.

Preparing metal work for Porcelain Bonded Restorations.

Pressing of e.max Restorations.

Nesting/Milling/Sintering of Zirconia/Wax/PMMA Restorations.

Knowledge of Design via 3Shape or exocad would be beneficial but not essential.

Knowledge of 3D Printing beneficial but not essential.

Photography experience with shade taking beneficial but not essential.

Communication with Clients as required

Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementing changes

Update job knowledge and skills by participating in educational opportunities

Complete CPD and maintain a record of all accredited hours and certificates for review

Any other duties appropriate to the post and the needs of the Business

Skills/Qualifications

GDC Registration.

Qualified in Dental Technology.

Experience within a commercial private dental laboratory.

Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Good practical skills and a steady hand.

Attention to detail.

An understanding of and commitment to continuous improvement.

A positive, "can do" attitude and flexible approach.

An understanding and commitment to equal opportunities, non-discrimination and accessibility.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Desirable

IT literacy with a understanding of CAD and various software applications related to design and documentation.

Use digital technology to scan, mill and produce restorations and frameworks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
