We are looking for 1 new full time Departmental Secretary to join the Abdominal Medicine and Surgery CSU based at St James University Hospital. The role will also include some data related duties.The role will be ideal for somebody who is looking to expand on their experience within a healthcare setting. We are a surgical CSU and oversee a cohort of patients with complex pathways, therefore liaising with a range of medical personnel will be vital to the role.The post-holder will be required to attend to duties such as typing of correspondence, dealing with complex patient queries and operating a number of IT systems such as Epro, PPM, PAS and Order comms and will be also asked to complete data related tasks within the business unit such as preparing and attending audit.The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and will take a proactive approach to working within one of the busiest CSUs within the trust. Applicants will also have fantastic organisational and time management skills as well as being able to multi-task and prioritise workloads accordingly.
