is the UK's largest and privately owned generator rental company having enjoyed over 26 years of supply in the industry. Generator Power are providing an excellent opportunity for a Depot Manager to join our team at our depot in Inverness

Duties Responsibilities:



Oversee the daily operations of our generator rental depot, ensuring excellent service delivery through the most efficient methods. Responsible for equipment inventory, equipment availability, scheduling maintenance & repairs, breakdown attendance, contract deliveries & collections. Working closely with our centralized Hire Desk, ensuring that the company's on hire & off hire process is adhered to timely during the booking out / in of all fleeted assets.

People Management

- Lead a team of Field & Depot Service Engineers inclusive of overtime, on call Rotas adhering to all legal requirements, holidays & absences, training needs and performance objectives.

Equipment Management

- Scheduling & Coordination of weekly field equipment service schedules, maximising available resources to ensure maximum productivity, ensuring equipment repairs are diagnosed correctly and scheduled

Customer Management

- Build and maintain great customer relationships providing our customers with superior service levels

Logistics Management

- Support & Coordinate on time equipment deliveries & collections through Company owned assets and by utilizing our third-party suppliers whenever necessary

Supply Chain Management

- Ensure depot is stocked correctly with spare parts & consumables for the asset profile it owns, build relationships locally with partners to support the business with repairs of components

Documentation -

Ensure compliance to company's expected standards with regards to engineer's job card reporting, contract management, asset auditing

Compliance -

Ensure compliance across various areas of the business including transportation & vehicles, ISO 9000:1 process, Healthy & Safety Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties that are requested by the Managing Director or the Management Team.

Qualifications required:



GCSEs High school or equivalent;
Any Plant/Mechanical Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience;
Any Administrative Qualifications;
Management experience;
Competent with IT and computer packages especially Microsoft Excel & Word;

Experience/Skills required:



Experience on generators/plant equipment/heavy engineering (or similar) Managerial experience.
