Embrace Care is recruiting an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to support the leadership of an Ofsted-registered children's residential home in Preston, supporting children and young people with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and emotional or behavioural needs.
This role is for someone who understands children's residential care, knows how to support teams on shift, and is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
What you'll be responsible for
Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
Leading, coaching and supporting Support Workers on shift.
Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, care planning and behaviour support.
Contributing to Ofsted compliance, inspections and quality assurance.
Building positive relationships with families and professionals.
Creating a safe, stable and nurturing environment for children.
What you'll need
Experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior Support Worker or Manager in an Ofsted-regulated children's home.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and children's residential standards.
Confident leadership and communication skills.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards it.
Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
